About these figures

The averages are this app’s own: each pollster’s latest poll ending in the 30 days to the newest, reaching back as far as 60 to find three pollsters.

Polls a party’s side sponsored are shown, ringed and their side named, and left out of the averages. A race with no average shows one poll: the newest no party’s side sponsored, else the newest.

The closest races are those whose two leaders are nearest, in their average or their one poll; a race resting on one poll a party’s side sponsored comes after the rest.

A candidate’s party is shown only where Polymarket’s market on the race gives one. Some markets give none, so a candidate shown without one may still belong to a party.

Polls aren’t forecasts. Polymarket’s odds are its traders’ bets, not polls.
